The Story of a Fictional Jewish Immigrant

/ 22 February 2011

As the first of three 7-9 page papers for the history class I’m taking this semester we had to write a paper documenting the prospects for economic success of a Jewish immigrant whose 17 when he (in my case, but could be she) arrives in 1900 up through 1937. If the directions for the paper were that simple this would have been a breeze, but alas they weren’t. You may notice the awkward citation format, that is no mistake and my professor wanted us to use that format (the abbreviations) so that the citations would take up less space. Anyway, the paper is linked above and feel free to comment on it here if you’d like.
