FYS Research Project Scaffold

As the first major step in our research paper for FYS we had to create a scaffold that effectively documents the conversation going on regarding the topic. The topic I’m going with at the moment for this project is examining how groups have used social media (with a special look at Twitter and Facebook) to launch and sustain nonviolent social revolutions, a topic that is definitely important and very relevant these days (just take the Arab world as an example). The quick name I’ve given this project (and some of the keywords for searching) is Social Media and Social Revolution. As I move forward with this project I’ll be posting updates here and adding to the project’s website (linked above). Throughout the project feel free to post questions and comments here.
