16 Years Old

Well, at about 5 am or 6 am this morning (well before I woke up at 7 am) I turned 16. We’ve already celebrated my birthday with most of my mom’s family on Saturday evening, but this evening we’ll celebrate again and I’ll open the presents that I’ll get, as well as eating the second cake. But, wow, both the fact that I’m home sick today and the nearly 12 inches of snow that’s on the ground (even if it’s rapidly melting) means that this birthday has a lot that seems to have gone wrong (though it does probably make this birthday all that much more memorable). Other than those two things (and I should be healthy enough to go to school tomorrow and the snow is rapidly melting) this has been a nice 16th birthday for me. Enjoy, Alex.
