NXT-G v1.1 To Be Released In August

In August The Lego Group will release version 1.1.0 of it’s NXT-G software. This update will give support for Windows Vista and native support for Intel-based macs. The new version also is said to free up 30 KB on the NXT and also shrink the file sizes by 40% (all of which Robolab does now). This new piece of software will be available to current users for $19.99 after August 2007. I think that this update may hint towards the entirety of LABVIEW becoming a universal binary for the mac. That means that Robolab 2.9 (which is what I use for the NXT, RCX, Scout, etc.) may turn universal soon.
