MacOSXHints CPU Usage

Some of the time when I’m looking at MacOSXHints I notice that my mac’s CPU useage climbs to the limit (at least according to MenuMeters). This is primarily due to the advertisements I think as those are the only things on the site that are moving/ animated. Has anyone else noticed this effect of the site?
