Another Mail Issue

This morning I learned of yet another Apple Mail issue. Apparently the dynamic dock icon (a more functional dock icon system, iCal and a few other third-party softwares use it as well) for Mail will only show the unread count if those messages reside in the Inbox. Those of us that have our mail filed for us on arrival and then read it in an “Unread” smart mailbox won’t see that unread count in Mail’s dynamic dock icon.
