Half-day Of Hope

Yesterday the hardware for the breitband service arrived. That afternoon we hooked it all up and got a signal from the DSL, and of the ethernet, but the internet was not visible to the modem. We called the company that will be providing us with the service and they said that the service had not yet been activated and so though we had a DSL signal, the actual internet would not start for another week or so. But since we already had the whole system plugged together we thought we might as well test our wifi base-station to see if that at least would work. That luckily did work and so we now are just waiting for the internet service and then I’ll be blogging like crazy again.
