Faster Boot = No Boot Status Bar Window

I noticed today when restarting my MacBook in hopes of fixing a local network sharing issue that 10.5 doesn’t display the boot dialog box before the login window. I’m sure that this is in tune with the fact that the Intel macs only displayed half of it before the login window. Apple must’ve decided that macs boot too fast to need that kind of wait anymore.
