iPhone Support? Not Yet!!

/ 28 June 2007

We all know that tomorrow is the 29th of June and the release date of Apple’s long-awaited iPhone. Remember when I said here on my blog that 10.4.10 must have given all macs iPhone support, well, according to ARS Technica and the iPhone specs page that isn’t the case. On the iPhone specs page it says that both iTunes v7.3 or later and Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later are required for the iPhone to sync. The version of iTunes currently installed on my MacBook is iTunes v7.2. I just checked on Software Update and there aren’t any new updates for my MacBook yet. I have Mac OS X 10.4.10 installed, but the iTunes 7.3 update is what I’m now looking for and better have it ready for download and install by the end of tomorrow or else Apple really can’t have released the iPhone.
