Spotlight Sensitive Keywords In Preview
Recently I learned of the feature in Preview to assign keywords to any file you open in it. Generally this ability would seem useless, but as the keywords are sensitive to Spotlight (assign a keyword to a file, spotlight for the keyword, and the file shows up) I’ve found the feature quite useful. To assign a keyword (or many keywords if you so desire) to a single file open it with Preview, then get image information by pressing Apple-I or choosing “Get Info” from the “Tools” menu. In the window that pops up choose the tab “Keywords” and that’s where you enter the keywords for that file.
