iSight With Rosetta

/ 14 June 2007

You know how Rosetta doesn’t support the bluetooth hardware in our Intel macs, well, apparently it does support the iSights in our Intel macs. Just now I tested out of sheer curiosity the “Vision Center” project inside Robolab 2.9. When I first opened it didn’t recognize any camera. But when I chose any other input source it activated the built-in iSight and displayed the video. Now, each time I open the “Video Center” it automatically uses the iSight in my MacBook. I think it’s quite interesting that Rosetta would have support for our iSights but not for our bluetooth hardware. Aside from Robolab, does anyone know of other PPC applications that can use the built-in iSight of our Intel macs?
