Quicktime Scrolling

/ 23 March 2007

All the macs that support trackpad scrolling (3rd party or Apple) have the neat slow-motion scroll in any Quicktime environment (aside from iTunes :( ). I first noticed it in a web based movie and tested it in an on-disk movie and both had this ability to use the two-point scrolling to go forward or backward in the movie that was open. I wonder what DVD Player may do? I doubt it has this trackpad integration as the movie is on a DVD, but only testing it will tell us for sure. Also, WOW, I mean, there are al these possibly even accidental hidden scroll-bars in the OS. Other examples are Google Earth’s zoom, iPhoto’s keyword tab, and I’m sure there are many many more I haven’t yet found.
