Two days ago I did the three main updates needed for my mac. Those as you likely know were a Java update, a security update, and the odd daylight savings update. Those required my laptop to restart. Then, yesterday I checked again and there were two new updates, a quicktime update, and an iTunes update. The iTunes update did not require a restart, but the Quicktime update did require a restart. So, after my mac was up for an entire month, it was then restarted twice within a day. Hopefully now that all those updates are installed on my mac it can be up for another long stretch of time without being shut down. This is also a warning/ note for all you mac users that those updates are out there and it seems like the daylight savings update is completely required to be installed on your system before March 11th, next Sunday.
