Butler Plugins

/ 4 February 2007

Back in July 2006 I blogged about Butler, saying that it was a cool app that allows you to customize certain elements of your system to add extra menus, and add extra keyboard shortcuts. Well, yesterday when looking at the developer’s site, I found a plugin for it that allows you to display currently playing song information directly above your desktop image, that combined with the default F11 command is a substitute for Front Row’s ability to show the currently playing iTunes song info for those of us that don’t have Front Row installed until the time in the hopefully near future when we will due to 10.5 Leopard having it built-in for all macs.
