Dashboard Widgets On The Desktop

You may need to translate something or just plain want widgets on the desktop. While, here’s a secret command to make this all possible. Here’s how to make this significant change: Step 1; open “Terminal.app” (located in /Applications/Utilities), Step 2; type “defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES”, Step 3; press return, Step 4; type “killall Dock”, Step 5; press return. You can now go into Dashboard and bring widgets to your desktop by holding the mouse button on them while exiting Dashboard.
