Application Enhancer

/ 3 December 2006

Today I found a cool add-on to the system that is a base framework and controlling prefpane. This add-on is called “Application Enhancer”, and the group that makes it makes many plug-ins for it. This add-on has the ability to enhance the system in many ways, the one that I’m using is free, and it’s one to modify the OS X dock. You can change the color of the background (the bar part), the outline, and the “Running” triangle, you can also completely get rid of the bar. There’s also many many many more to download and use. The group also makes a “smart crash reporter” plug-in that allows you the option to send crash reports not only to Apple, but also to the maker of that application.
