First Security Update of 2009 Released
In just the past few hours Apple made it’s first major security update for 2009 available to the public, Security Update 2009-001. The update includes security and compatibility improvements to many core components of OS X including AFP Server, Apple Pixlet Video, CarbonCore, CFNetwork, Certificate Assistant, CoreText, CUPS, DS Tools, fetchmail, Folder Manager, FSEvents, Network Time, perl, Printing, python, Remote Apple Events, Safari RSS, servermgrd, SMB, X11, and XTerm. The update is 43.4 MB and as it changes so many core components of the system, requires a reboot. Enjoy, Alex.
