iTunes, Front Row, And The Info Window Of iTunes

I just stumbled across a really interesting fact about iTunes, the Apple Remote, and Front Row. You know how quite annoyingly what’s playing in iTunes and what’s playing in Front Row have been separated in 10.5.x. Well, as it turns out, if the Info window that you can open in iTunes (to edit track metadata) is open then neither the Apple Remote, or Front Row are able to pause the music. This ends up leaving the music playing throughout the interface of Front Row, including when Front Row is playing sound (music or video). That’s just an interesting bug that I think is quite good to know about (and slightly less important than some for Apple to fix). Enjoy, Alex.
