According to a report at ARS Technica, Apple has recently seeded a new build of the 10.4.11 software update. They mention that nearly 20 bugs will be fixed, and more areas of the OS will be enhanced. The main sections are WebKit and Dashboard. But CoreAudio, BSD Kernel, CoreText, ImageCapture, and Apple Software Restore are also getting certain enhancements. No release date is in the reports, but I have to imagine that it’ll be released at the same time as 10.5. The Webkit fixes make me wonder if those that are using Safari 3 with the nightly WebKit builds will then be able to use Safari 3 with the OS WebKit instead. Enjoy, Alex.
