SuperDrive Working

/ 25 July 2007

Due to what I noticed yesterday I wanted to test my SuperDrive to make sure that it could still read discs (and I imagine that if it could read discs it could write them too). I just inserted an audio CD that I didn’t have in iTunes (and don’t want in iTunes) just to see if iTunes would respond properly. It did, so I’m quite sure that the system just now has a different method of reading the information about the SuperDrive. If that is the case then I’m quite glad because it was getting annoying for me to hear that sound every time the system was getting data about the SuperDrive. It actually makes me feel a bit bad about those who have older MacBooks that need to make that sound every single time their mac wakes up, I was better off on that end from the start. Enjoy, Alex.
