10.5 On 10/5

/ 12 April 2007

Apple recently said that due to the iPhone, Leopard development has been slowed and the OS release has been pushed back until October 2007. You will note that the sneak peak no longer says “Spring 2007”, and instead says “October 2007”. Due to the version number (10.5.0), I (and some others) came up with the release date of 10/5/07. Since the iPhone is for certain being released in June, we can expect that a 10.4.10 update will be released at that time to support the iPhone in the current OS. I think that we all should stop worrying about the OS since we now have a very good idea of when it will be released (in fact, I’ll likely have a MacBook by then).
