Create Your Own Contextual Menu Items

/ 8 November 2006

I just started using a neat tool called OMC (On My Command) which allows you to make custom contextual menu items that execute UNIX or Applescript commands. I’ve not really started exploring all it’s abilities, but the whole aspect of having that kind of control seems just cool/ helpful. It also (based on the tutorials) seems very easy to use, as long as you know something about UNIX or Applescript prior to using it. Plus, even if I don’t ever learn how to write my own items for it, the included set will be useful. I will warn you, the installation is a bit complicated.
